    • My son’s father has life in the feds because he didn’t want to rat on someone & he has a conspiracy charge & wasn’t the one busted with drugs. Those who cooperated was the ones busted with the drugs. Happen right here in New Orleans.

  3. My husband has been incarcerated for the past 18 yrs. He was 18 yrs old at the time of his incarceration. He was charged with attempted murder and is sentenced to a flat 30 yrs without benefit of probation or parole. I think that violent offenders should be allowed a second chance as well. He was very young and was influenced to try to commit a murder for hire for a man who wanted to get rid of his ex wife’s boyfriend. My husband has been a model inmate for 18 yrs. She was just denied even getting a hearing before the pardon committee. The vote was 2 to 3–denying him to even speak on his own behalf. Throughout his incarceration he has always tried to improved himself. Why won’t they give him a second chance?
